Chess Galactica is one of a series of chessboards I am producing. All of the boards are of different subject matter, hand painted and unique. This board portrays a battle of planets in space, contrasting a deep grey against transparent green squares designed to enhance the background elements of space itself.
The board dimensions are: 40cm x 40cm square with a table height of approximately 55mm, is finished with two coats of high gloss, epoxy resin to give it that final burst of colour and comes boxed.
Individual squares are approximately 42mm squared.
The underside of the board is finished with a felt covering and has four chrome effect, tubular feet.

The board is finished with two coats of epoxy resin which gives a high gloss finish. It is not recommended that cleaning products containing toxic, or aggressive materials is used on the surface. A soft cloth, warm water or a recognised resin polish may be used.
Although the epoxy coating can withstand temperatures of up to 90 degrees, it is not recommended that any hot vessels or any extreme heat is applied.
The purchase price of each board does not include chess pieces but does include package and posting.
